If you're a fan of the "Sunday Puzzle" on NPR's Weekend Edition, then you might have heard puzzle master Will Shortz's challenge to the radio and Web audience on April 19: "Take the phrase 'more corruptness.' Rearrange these 15 letters to name a popular magazine. Tip: It's a magazine this phrase definitely does not apply to."

Even though the TalkingShopping team knows that department stores are hurting in this dismal economy, it’s nice to see that one of them isn’t ditching their philanthropic efforts! Neiman Marcus just announced that starting April 30th through May 2nd, they’ll be hosting the “Good Event”, which will help raise funds to benefit Feeding America’s network for nation-wide food assistance programs! We've recently reported on declining shipments and sales of major appliances. But as was the case in 2008, stand-alone freezers continue to buck the downward trend. If
you haven’t checked out Net-A-Porter’s designer outlet site The Outnet
yet, you definitely need to take a peak. Sure it may not have lived up

Sales” which basically feature a group of items, edited by brand or
theme and are only available for 72 hours! Hmmmm, kind of sounds
exactly like the sample sale sites to us!
